Jude has founded and successfully grown three companies specialising in NZ Māori educational and informational resources. She is accomplished in publishing, authoring and educational development. One of her most significant achievements has been creating Mauri Ora and co-creating Mahi Ora, two of New Zealand’s largest education programmes to date. Both programmes are delivered by Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
Jude has a total of 6 years experience in marketing and business management, 8 years authoring, publishing and filmmaking and 16 years of coal-face community development/social justice delivery predominantly with Māori communities and youth.
Complementing her community experience, Jude has also experience at government level including Ministry of Labour - Youth employment needs (Tainui); Waka Tangata Project (Māori Congress Full Employment Committee) Review of Community Wage Programme Dynamics of delivery within a rural sector; and NZ Employment Strategies (Māori Commission of Training and Employment) Researcher.
